Snow flakes and More Snow fun

My students are loving folding up paper and cutting out little snips here and there and the big reveal, unfolding them!!  Last Friday we got to talking about how interesting it is to see them up close on your sleeve or a mitten.We looked at some pictures in books of snowflakes and we made some on the computer.

Here is the website we used to make and display our snowflakes!  It is a little tricky at first, but once you get going, the little scissors are eaier to use!  We each printed one to hang in out room!

It is a cute story and it also includes some relatively easy directions for making snowflakes with real scissors!  Check it out of the library, that's what we did!
